PADI Confined Water Course
Confined Water Course with Essex School of Diving in Colchester, Essex.
Prerequisits:
You need to be at least 10 years old, in reasonable health and capable of swimming 200 meters at a relaxed pace. You will also need to complete some PADI paperwork for our/your records.
This is the first half of the PADI Open Water Course. By completing this part of the Open Water Course, you will gain a signed and stamped referral certificate to take on your holiday with you so that you may complete the second part of the Open Water Course and qualify in warmer waters if you so wish. Or, you can continue with us and complete the second part (Qualifying Part) with us.
We Teach many people from Chelmsford, Braintree, Witham, Ipswich, Clacton, Maldon, who just complete this part of the PADI Open Water course with us because they do not wish to waste valuable time on holiday, sitting in a hot classroom and doing homework in the evenings before they can get in the sea and scuba dive.!
Confined Water Course
The objective of the Confined Water Course is to teach and develop your Theory (classroom) and Diving Skills (in the pool), in a safe and controlled environment. In general, this course takes approximately four to five 2.5 hour sessions to complete. (Sessions do not have to be on consecutive Saturdays but it helps if they are). The time period is less if you choose the Express Holiday Referral course option. All sessions are conducted at Leisure World in Colchester, Essex on Saturday evenings, starting at 17:45, finishing around 20:30. Sessions do not have to run consecutively if you have something else to do.
Your Instructor will help guide you through each and every step of the course until we feel you are ready to move on to the Qualifying section of the course. All Theory material and Diving equipment are included in our prices. There are no hidden extras in our courses!!
Once you have completed your Confined Water Course, we will update your log book. You then have a choice to make? You can either:
Continue your training with us to receive your full PADI Open Water certification. Click HERE for details.
