What do I need to start my diving experience?
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. We can supply all the diving equipment and gear you need to get you your PADI Qualification, just think the world is waiting for you to enjoy yourself....
What will I do during my SCUBA Diving lesson?
Throughout this course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including the dive equipment and techniques and you will learn underwater skills. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water dives. How long will it take to get my certificate?
PADI programs are performance based. You proceed at a pace that suits you, and as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that you are comfortable with, like all our courses there is no pressure, we operate in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The course in total lasts around 5 weeks, 1 evening a week with a 2 day Open Water qualifier. If you prefer we operate an Intensive Scuba Diver Training in Colchester. This course is designed for people who would like to learn to dive, but think they may have left it too late before their holiday start date. Well we can offer the Open Water Referral Course over two weekends, so that you can complete all your pool training sessions, and also your theory before you jet off for that well deserved holiday in the sun.
