Here at Essex School of Diving in Colchester in Essex we can provide you with all the necessary SCUBA Diving Equipment to get you diving straight away! We have all our own equipment, and we have specialist equipment for children, literally all you need to bring for your Essex session will be a towel!

Confined water training can be done in shorts and t-shirts or long swim-wear, just diving in a bikini is not advisable as water can conduct heat away from the body 20 times faster than air of the same temperature which during a pool diving lesson you would get cold.

Our Standard Equipment for you when you dive with us consists of:

Mask and Snorkel
BCD (Buoyancy Control Device)
Set of Regulators with Alternate and Submersible Pressure Gauge/Air Supply
Weight Belt & Weights
Pair of Fins
Tank of Air

We can provide you with all the gear you need to get you started. Alternatively if you wish to bring you own SCUBA Diving equipment please do so.

We have good recommendations for all Diving equipment from manufacturers such as Mares, Waterproof, Suunto, Aqualung, Bodyglove, Tusa, Dacor, Hydrotec and Beaver too name a few.. ask us for our local Essex Supplier recommendations.
