The lake has been a developing sanctuary for fish and lush plant life since 1945 when the former brickworks closed down. The surrounding land has been developed into a full range of ancillary facilities. In 1985 the lake was developed for SCUBA Diving the lake is ideal with varying depths from 1m to 22m, it is considered a good diving centre. There are several Training platforms which are ideal for completing 'skills' on. |
