Hi John
Just want to say a big thank you to you and all your team who got me and my son through our PADI open water course.
The course was very well organised and all the instructors made the whole learning process fun. We would recommend your school to anyone.

Thanks for your all your help and support throughout the course, please could you also pass on my greatest thanks to all the Team at ESOD, Steve(x3) Rich,Jason & Ian. You were all terrific. I have and will continue to recommend ESOD to all my colleagues, if only all businesses could give the same level of customer service that you have it would be great. Naturally when first starting there is a certain trepadation but you and the team ceratinly sorted that out, confidence, experience, knowledge and ability are something that you all have in abundance and deploy really well.

Just to stay a great big thanks for your help and patience in getting me through the OWD course. Now to put it into action, can you advise of the dry suit course info, as this will be my next course I would like to do, hopefully to enable me to have more option for diving within our UK waters. I will be keeping an eye on the web site for trips you have coming up that I can go on. Again thanks to all the instructors for there help.
Wendy & Jim
We would like to thank Essex School of Diving very much for their professional attitude and excellent teaching methods while we learnt the Open Water Course at their pool training sessions in Colchester. I was very nervous before I started and my husband was also a little unsure, but we had to give Scuba Diving a go for our holiday this summer. I must say that we had a great time and the instructors made us feel very welcome and they explained and showed us the course content with exceptional skill. Thank you very much once again, we will definately be back after our holiday. Wendy & Jim. |

I have recently moved to Chelmsford. I am a diver myself, to rescue diver level and since I moved I have been looking for a good quality dive school around the area to train my son. I found Essex School of Diving and I am so glad I did. They are so professional in their attitude to teaching, but they make the classes fun and exciting as well. The safety aspect with the school is top quality, before I enrolled my son I asked to see all of their qualifications and insurances. They are fully insured in all aspects and their qualifications are outstanding. I am so glad I made the decision to train with Essex School of Diving they are a fun and friendly dive school and my son really enjoyed his time with them and we both will be back for more of the same. Many thank lads, James |

Today I was treated, that's the only word for it, to some exceptional service. After a gap of over 10 years I'm taking up Scuba diving again and needed to attend a refresher course. After a written exam to assess how much I'd remembered, quite a lot in fact, we went down to the pool for the practical - about an hour doing various drills at the bottom of the diving pit.
And it was here that the service quality became obvious. With two very rusty students, Rick our instructor showed the utmost patience, was utterly clear in what he wanted us to do, demonstrated the techniques before we had a go ourselves and then roundly congratulated us upon successful completion.
With Rick's patience, things came back quickly.
Nothing difficult there, you may think. Except this was mostly done at 3 metres (10ft) below the surface, where it's all hand signals and taking things very, very calmly. At any depth, if things go wrong it can be serious..very quickly.
I emerged into the night feeling utterly elated and reassuringly confident.
Well done Essex School of Diving. You promise “You’ll be in safe hands”, I’d say you’re certainly living inside your brand.

Had an amazing holiday with Essex School of Diving. Stayed in a lovely hotel right on the beach in Brayka Bay, Marsa Alam, and enjoyed 10 dives (6 boat and 4 shore) saw lots of marine life including lionfish, moray eels, turtles, clown fish, rays... The other divers were all really nice and we got on well on holiday and shared some very memorable experiences! I would definatly go on another diving holiday with these guy's in the future as a I had such a good time, still smiling about swimming with turtles! |

Having enjoyed snorkelling a few times we decided to give a "try dive" a go. We met the crew at Essex School of Diving and were treated reassuringly and professionally. The next step was to sign up to an "Open Water Course".
Again the instructors were superb, emphasising that safety was paramount along with enjoyment (and a bit of leg pulling!). Being prize whimps we decided against doing our open water qualifying dives in a cold gravel pit in Liecester, and instead opted to join Essex School of Diving in Egypt. This was a good move, perfect weather fantastic visibility (even better than the pool!) and good company. The hotel was spot on and Steve and John took us both through our qualifying dives, needless to say part of the 4 dives required was experience....and what an experience! Awesome, fish everywhere superb colours and we even saw a turtle! Steve and John knew exactly when to remove the safety blanket of their presence when diving after qualifying, and let us get on with it in a fantastic environment. If you have not been to the Red Sea before we can highly recommend it. We are now looking forward to doing our Advanced course in Egypt next year.
If you want somewhere to learn to dive Essex School of Diving in Colchester is a great place to do it. |

Learning how to dive with Essex School of Diving in Colchester has been a fantastic experience and I am now looking forward to completing the PADI Open Water training in Egypt in the next few weeks. The Instructors are highly competent divers with many years experience of training up novices so that they feel confident and safe in the water. Equally they have a great sense of fun and there has been much laughing in each class. Learning to dive for me has been a personal challenge which has at times taken me out of my comfort zone and I am absolutely certain that I choose the right dive school in Essex to undertake this challenge with. |

We had never dived before, but we really wanted to have a go. Essex School of Diving were recommended to us by our friend who had done her Advanced Diving Course with them, so we gave them a ring. They are a great bunch, and really do take care of you, and certainly do know their stuff. We completed the Open Water Course with them in Colchester, and we enjoyed every minute of the course. Thanks Guy's, great dive school, keep up the good work. |

I had just come out of a messy divorce and wanted something to do. Decided to learn to dive and found Essex School of Diving in Colchester. This was the best thing I did, I met some great new friends. I completed my Open Water Course with them, and now have gone on and finished the Rescue Diver Course. They know what they are on about, and it is a great thing to do, I have now seen some wonderful things, which I would not have if I have not taken up scuba diving with them, as I have been on one of their diving holidays. |

Both my son and I learnt how to scuba dive and completed our PADI open water certification with Essex School of Diving. The Scuba Diver Training in Colchester we received was second to none, we have both since dived at various locations where our excellent training shone through. The courses are delivered in an extremely professional and fun way, we both enjoyed every minute especially the open water weekend. I have since gone on to professional level myself thanks to the initial high quality training I received from Essex School of Diving in Colchester |

I started by doing one of the try dives in Colchester, as I was not sure if I could cope with being underwater. After the session I signed up for the Open Water Course, and completed all the pool training, and also the Open Water Qualifying. This dive school really does build your confidence levels up, and they have a lot of time for you. I would highly recommend Essex School of Diving in Colchester if you wish to learn to dive. |

We knew nothing about scuba diving when we started but Essex School of Diving mixed a friendly and relaxed style with thorough training to see us through the whole process. They are an excellent group who give you confidence and excitement and move at your pace. ESOD ensure you achieve your PADI qualification but more importantly they make sure you enjoy getting it. |

I would like to thank you very warmly for looking after me so well as it seems you do with everybody but getting the course finished in good time for my holiday next week is very much appreciated. I enjoyed the course a lot more to learn than I had expected but it gives the basis to go ahead and practice and learn more. Best regards, Owen |

I've always wanted to try scuba diving, so looked on the web and phoned a few places. Essex School of Diving came back to me on the same day. They were friendly and thorough, walking me through the courses available and checking to see if I had tried it before. The school do their Diver training in Colchester at Leisure World, the instructors are friendly and easy going when you meet them and this continues through into the class room sessions. When learning in the pool, they have a professional attitude that gives you the confidence that you are in safe hands. |
