Worried about Scuba Diving?
Don't be. Here at Essex School of Diving in Colchester we will guide you every step of the way. One of our Padi professional Scuba Instructors will be there for you. He/she will help you with gaining your first experience of breathing underwater. It's a different world, but after a few minutes you will be a natural. Everyone that has come for Try Dives in Colchester has been thrilled with the experience and has gone on to complete the PADI Open Water Course here in Colchester Essex, and even some have gone on to become Scuba Diving Instructors. We offer three ways to complete the Open Water Diver Training in Colchester, please see the list below for additional information.
- Open Water Referral Course in Colchester. This course is for people wishing to complete their pool training, (Confined Water) then travel on holiday to complete their Open Water Qualification.
- Open Water Diving Course, which includes the Scuba Qualifying This is the complete package with regard to completing your pool training with us and also your Open Water Qualifying. At the end of you qualifying sessions with us you will be a qualified Open Water Diver and will be able to travel the world diving at your own leisure.
- Intensive Scuba Diver Training in Colchester, Essex. This course is for people really short on time before going on holiday. The training is condensed into a day long session.
When you start your diving adventure our Diving Professionals will be right with you, he/she will be there to answer any questions you may have, and to make you feel comfortable for your first underwater experience.

Once you get into the swing of things you will be hooked. Scuba Diving is a great social event.
