• Payment for all course training will need to be received before course start date. Once course is underway then it is your responsibility to ensure that you are available for training during the length of the course. If you miss training on days that courses are running, Essex School of Diving will make every effort to ensure that you can complete your training on your return, but cannot be held responsible if no instructors are available to continue your training due to the volume of other students.

• Scuba Courses bought as gifts/presents either Christmas, Birthday or any other gift it is your responsibility, (the purchaser) to ensure that the recipient(s) of the gift(s) are available for training as we offer a no refund policy on gifts bought. All scuba courses purchased as gifts/presents will need to be started within 6 weeks of Gift Purchase Date otherwise course fee will be lost. We will only issue Credit Notes for courses provided there is good reason through illness and credit note will only be valid for original named person and will not be accepted for others.

• For Holiday's booked through us and deposit or holiday fee is paid. If you are required to cancel your holiday then we offer a no refund policy on scuba holidays. If cancellation is due to illness then monies will be refunded through the tour operator, (as per their terms and conditions) minus the holiday deposit. All diving fees will be lost, as these fees would have already been paid to the dive centre concerned.

• For Courses booked in advance, 50% deposit will be taken to secure place on the course, deposits will be refunded in full if the course is cancelled not less than three weeks prior to course start date, minus 45% admin fee plus cost of course materials. Courses cancelled less than three weeks prior to course start date all course fee will be lost.

• All Courses where the student wishes to pay by installments will need to be paid in full before end of course training and before certification will be issued, payment for these courses will be paid by weekly installments, Certification will be held by Essex School of Diving until Full Payment of Diving Courses.

• If you would like to pay by installments then once the training has started then you will be required to attend training every week, unless due to unforeseen circumstances. For courses that are paid by installments then the course must be completed within an eight week period. Failure to complete the course within this period will result in an invoice being issue for the remaining course fee.

• We offer a no refund policy, whilst every effort will be made by Essex School of Diving to ensure students progress successfully throughout the course, (including Confined Water Training and Open Water Qualifying), we can not be held responsible if a student is unable to complete the course for various reasons.

• Essex School of Diving reserve the right to refuse training to anyone they feel who is not suitable to train for a diving course.
