Drift Diving Course in Colchester Essex

Course consists of 2 dives
Minimum student age: 12 years.
Minimum qualification: Open Water or Junior OW Diver

What will I learn on my Drift Diving Course?

• The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and
  hazards of drift diving.
• Special equipments for example: SMB's, lines, reels etc.
• The proper procedures for buoyancy control, navigation and communication with your group or buddy.
• Site selection and overview of currents, the causes and effects
• Techniques for staying close to a buddy or together as a group.
  

This course is ideal for anyone going on holiday, and would like to drift along reefs watching the "underwater world go by" without using too much effort. When diving from a boat, many dive sites can be drift dives, so make sure you are well prepared.
