Navigation Speciality with Essex School of Diving in Colchester, Essex.
Course consists of 3 dives
Minimum student age: 10 years
Minimum qualification: Open Water or Junior OW Diver.
A required element of the Advanced course, the Navigation Speciality course will help you understand how to use your compass underwater, use natural navigation techniques and plot bearings. You will have to perform exercises with the compass to ensure you have the correct idea, Whether it is a reciprocal course, bearings or natural navigation that use wish to use, we will show you have to plot your dive so you never 'get lost' again. When visability is poor, or you are night diving, navigation is an essential skill to have.
